Our survey data shocked us when we discovered that there were 1600 physically challenged people suffering from a variety of ailments living in a village called Koira near Devanahalli.

Despite their best efforts to improve their precarious living conditions, the lockdown exacerbated their predicament. We, the SHE team, were able to distribute ration kits to 110 of them with little effort and made a small contribution from our end, as well as donated 150 kgs of mangoes to them. We ask that people recognise the problems that the needy are facing at this unprecedented time and donate. Many people like this are in desperate need of assistance. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Charitable Trust, ManoharIyer, Soujanya, Rekha Aditya, Priya Rodriguez, Ramya, Belawal Foundation, Anvita Charitable Trust, Sparsha Foundation, and everyone who contributed to this initiative.
