Women empowerment speech by the “She” team

We were immensely proud to visit The Jindal steel plant near Hampi because the cause behind it was a truly satisfying and a meaningful experience. When The management team from Jindal requested the She team to deliver a speech to inspire their women employees with their varied life journeys and career paths of ourselves, we immediately accepted without an ounce of doubt. We reached there to witness an overcrowded auditorium, which inspired us in turn with the grit integrity and commitment of each lady that was present there. We were immensely impressed by the women empowerment schemes and initiatives already in action by the Jindal team. While we thought we were there to empower those women from rural backgrounds, we also took back learnings from the Jindal group towards their women employees. Over twenty years ago when they started the plant, they took skill development training such as paper making, sewing, etc to these rural women and generated employment. These women not only benefitted with a regular income to the family they also had multiple self-sustainable talents in their kitty to boast about. We observed that when a woman takes a vow to bring about a change, no force can ever stop her.
We had our she team and a few more women enthusiasts visit the plant and learn about the steel manufacturing units working and process.
A well-spent and eventful day indeed
